Macroom Bookshop is a haven of relaxation and peace in a busy town. Here, browsing is welcomed, in fact encouraged. Space and light is paramount. There is plenty of access for buggies and a children’s reading area complete with mural and bean bags.

Here our younger customers can leaf through their particular favorites. We plan a children's Saturday story time and a book club so look out for updates on this site or in the shop.

Chairs are scattered throughout the premises where our adult customers may peruse at their leisure. An adult book club is also planned, so why not drop in your name?

All reading interests are catered for, we stock an extensive collection of fiction, bestsellers, health, history, cooking, gardening and of course children’s and teenage fiction. The shop also contains a large selection of second hand books at great prices.

We value our customer and if we don't have the book you require in stock we are more than happy to order it for you. Also keep an eye out for future author signings and talks.

We also sell Book Vouchers and we are happy to announce the introduction of our Reward Card, giving our customers a little extra. Check out this site for more details.
